What kind of warranty do you receive?
Statutory protection
All our products naturally come with the statutory warranty. This means that an item must meet the expectations that you, as a consumer, may reasonably have.
Additional warranty from Ferbox
For some products, we offer an extra warranty on top of the statutory coverage. This additional warranty does not affect your statutory rights, but provides extra security.
Situations in which the warranty becomes void
The warranty does not apply when the problem arises due to:
- incorrect or careless use
- incorrect installation
- external damage (e.g. dropping, impact, moisture, heat)
- modifications or repairs carried out by yourself
In these cases, unfortunately, we cannot provide a warranty.
Submitting a warranty claim
Do you have a product that becomes defective or does not function correctly within the warranty period? Then follow these steps:
- Send an email to info@ferbox.nl.
- Make sure the order number, photos, and description are included.
- Please note that warranty conditions may differ per product; this information is always clearly stated with the item.
- Do you have questions about a specific situation? Feel free to contact us via the chat. We are happy to think along with you.
Questions
The warranty period varies per product. The product page always indicates which warranty applies. In addition to the statutory warranty, some items may have an additional warranty. Unsure? Contact us so we can check this for you.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and problems that are not caused by your own actions. This means you are entitled to repair, replacement, or a suitable solution when the product does not function as it should, as long as this is not the result of misuse, external damage, or improper maintenance.
No, you do not always need to return the product first. In some cases, we can assess the issue remotely based on photos, videos, or a clear description. If it is necessary to inspect the item, we will of course inform you and provide further instructions.
Processing a warranty claim usually takes a few business days. Once we have received all the necessary information, we will assess the issue as quickly as possible. In some cases, it may take a little longer, for example when we depend on the manufacturer. Of course, we will keep you informed of the status throughout the process.
If the product is no longer available, we will work together to find a suitable solution. This may mean that you receive a replacement model, are offered a repair, or if that is not possible receive a refund. We always consider what is most reasonable and appropriate in your situation.
No, damage caused by your own use is not covered by the warranty. This includes damage from drops, impacts, or moisture, incorrect maintenance, or improper installation. In such cases, you can of course still contact us to see if we can assist you in another way.
Je kunt je klacht eenvoudig bij ons indienen via e-mail of onze chat. Beschrijf hierin duidelijk wat er aan de hand is, zodat we je zo snel mogelijk kunnen helpen. We nemen elke klacht serieus en zorgen altijd voor een passende oplossing. Mocht je er met ons niet uitkomen, dan kun je terecht bij een onafhankelijke geschillencommissie.
